In December we partnered with Ashgate Hospice, doing what we do best, making lanterns for their Light up a Life procession. The workshop to make willow and tissue star lanterns took place on the 3rd December and was delivered by artist Lucie Maycock, supported by Wendy Ducksbury. Twelve beautiful lanterns were made that were processed the following day.

"This is the first time the hospice has run family lantern-making workshops to support our Light up a Life remembrance appeal and lantern procession. Working with Junction Arts was a pleasure. The whole session was really well planned and the artist was lovely. We had people of all ages come along and enjoy making their lanterns." - Amy Buxton, Individual Giving Manager for Ashgate Hospice
