In Conversation With...
As a way to keep our communities connected during lockdown, Junction Arts hosted a series of live Q&A sessions with artists live on our Instagram page.
From April to September 2020, Junction Arts hosted a series of Live interviews with a Q&A session, featuring incredibly talented artists from across the East Midlands, from actors and makers, to musicians and poets and more.
This series created a fantastic opportunity for viewers at home to learn more about different creative practices and participatory work. The interviews were streamed live on the Junction Arts Instagram channel, but don’t worry if you missed them, you can still watch them on our Instagram IGTV @junctionartsUK

Chesterfield Children’s Festival is a new, annual, free family festival by Junction Arts
On 29th and 30th July 2023 we held the first Chesterfield Children’s Festival at Queen’s Park. The Children’s Festival is primarily an arts and culture festival for children of all ages and their wider families to explore the arts and creativity in a safe and accessible way.

Derbyshire Creative Heritage Conference 2023

The Derbyshire Creative Heritage Conference returned on the 16th March with a focus on digital technology and how it can be used to shine a light on the region’s heritage sites. The one-day event brought together industry experts, creatives, volunteers and those who love heritage to share ideas, network and develop partnerships for the future.
