Projects
Next Gen
Next Gen is for 16–24-year-olds to get involved with the arts, develop their skills and experience the breadth of the creative sector whilst thinking about their futures and connecting with peers and professionals.

The group meets one evening a month at West Studios, Chesterfield and takes part in cultural trips alongside workshops. The workshops are led by the member’s interests and delivered by professional practitioners.
The programme is currently funded until early 2024 and Junction Arts will seek further funding to continue the project. In late 2023 the group will devise and deliver their own community arts project giving them first-hand experience of being project co-ordinators, artists and facilitators.
The current, planned programme of upcoming workshops can be found on our What’s On page.
