On Sunday 21st May 2017, Junction Arts came along to the Bolsover Hill Race. The race was to support MacMillan Cancer Centre, Chesterfield Royal Hospital. As none of the Junction Arts team members were particularly ready to run all the way up the steep path, the team decided to come along and help support the brave participants that were. We set up our Junction Arts craft stall with Flags and Badges ready for our all drop-in workshop.  Everyone was welcome to take part in the workshop, to make a flag or badge, to support the people taking part in the race.

We were incredibly busy all day!  There was a great atmosphere and many people came to visit us and take part from all ages.  It was wonderful to see people personalise their flag or badge for their family and friends taking part in the race. We had some really great designs.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all who used our newly commissioned Junction Arts donation box. We are extremely grateful for all you gave, every penny keeps us working within your community. We love being part of the Bolsover community and seeing familiar faces.
