Alivia works closely with the operations and project team in supporting many areas of the charity. Previously, she was a regular volunteer for Junction Arts, as well as being part of our Next Gen group. Here, she enjoyed developing her artistic flare and building strong friendships whilst studying as an art and design student! Alivia’s duties include admin support and most importantly keeping check of our office inventory (she can hook you up with some Blu Tack).

Jemma is responsible for our This Girl Codes project and Chesterfield Children’s Festival. She’s passionate about making the arts more accessible in working class communities and celebrating the creativity of every individual. Jemma started at Junction Arts as the administration and monitoring officer in 2016 and has a wealth of knowledge about the charity.

Hannah is your first point of contact to find out how you can make a difference through our projects, whether that be through hosting your own fundraising event, sponsorship or a donation to our work. She is always available for a chat and cup of tea to help local people and businesses find the best ways for them to make a meaningful, positive impact in their communities.

Kate is responsible for getting the word out about our brilliant projects, events, and festivals. She’s fiercely protective of our brand and makes sure we’re always using the right font and colour palette! Kate looks after our social media channels, publicity, printed output and newsletters, she loves working with the team, artists and partners to create engaging content that will inspire more people to get involved with Junction Arts.

Nathan has a passion for positive social action and community development, and enjoys being creative himself through photography, design, and collage art. He greatly believes in the power of being creative as a tool for expression and improving health and wellbeing!

Ann is an electronic engineer specialising in audio acoustics and inclusive technologies. Ann is the driving force behind Kakou, a social enterprise based in Chesterfield, dedicated to designing technologies for music, heritage, and the creative arts. As a STEM Ambassador, she inspires the next generation of innovators by sharing her knowledge and passion for technology. As a trustee and creative facilitator for Junction Arts, Ann supports community-driven initiatives such as Six Pillars and This Girl Codes.

Farhaanah is the Treasurer of the Junction Arts Board, bringing eight years of finance experience to the role. She currently serves as the Director of Finance and Resources at Chance UK, who support the youth through early intervention services. In her free time, Farhaanah writes paranormal romance novels. She is passionate about reducing barriers to art for young people.

Tyler Turner is a creative writer and freelancer from Creswell, specialising in workshop facilitation, community engagement and youth participation projects. Her work mostly concerns identity and belonging in post-industrial communities.

Emma is a sustainability and governance specialist and founder of Green Arch Consulting. She supports organisations to embed environmental and social sustainability into their strategy and decision-making. A resident of Chesterfield since 2019, Emma is passionate about the role creativity plays in bringing people together and creating positive change in communities.

Marion is our longest-serving trustee, she's already on her second term! She trained as a drama and dance teacher but nowadays she's more likely to be painting, doing textiles or creating stained glass. She lives in Whittington but grew up in Shirebrook. Marion completed a two-year Arts Foundation in 2009 in Chesterfield. She believes that giving people the chance to be creative can change lives.
