Derbyshire Creative Heritage Conference 2023

The Derbyshire Creative Heritage Conference returned on the 16th March with a focus on digital technology and how it can be used to shine a light on the region’s heritage sites.  The one-day event brought together industry experts, creatives, volunteers and those who love heritage to share ideas, network and develop partnerships for the future.

Next Gen

Join an innovative new group for artistic 16-24 year olds who are interested in pursuing a creative career, who want to meet with like-minded people and explore opportunities in the arts.

This Girl Codes

This Girl Codes provided playful opportunities for women of all ages to explore creative tech and push the boundaries of what can be achieved with a community sensor-driven project in a heritage setting.

As a way to keep our communities connected during lockdown, Junction Arts hosted a series of live Q&A sessions with artists live on our Instagram page.

Work

We’re pleased to announce our involvement in WORK, a two year partnership project in which four artists will be supported to develop, produce and exhibit films made in collaboration with audiences and organisations across the Midlands.

Community Film Makers

‘Community Film Makers’ was a three year film project for residents of New Bolsover Model Village to document the progress of the Heritage Lottery Funded conservation and regeneration project.

HMS Hampshire Mosaic & Film project

In July 2016, Junction Arts, 3 artists and 31 Year 9 students from Frederick Gent School came together for an ambitious week-long mixed arts project.
