Partners
Longstanding relationships
We are grateful for the longstanding relationships we have built with our community to work with a variety of partners, to develop bespoke arts projects relevant to the needs of their participants.
Below are a list of our Partners who actively support us.
Junction Arts are Artsmark Partners

The Artsmark Award celebrates schools that champion arts and culture within learning. As well as recognising schools that make the arts come alive, the Artsmark award is a useful, practical and valuable tool for enriching a school’s arts provision and ensuring that the benefits brought by the arts are embedded across the curriculum and the school community. Artsmark is delivered by Arts Council England. Your school can apply for an Artsmark award here: www.artsmark.org.uk
Junction Arts has over 40 years of experience of using arts and heritage projects to improve the wellbeing and aspirations of children and young people in rural Derbyshire. Our projects are developed in partnership with schools and give young people the opportunity to showcase and celebrate their creativity at our regional arts events with their families and peers.
Junction Arts is an Artsmark partner. We can support your school to give children and young people the right to enjoy magical and memorable arts experiences within the classroom in the following ways:
-Developing and delivering arts projects that are place-based and authentic to each school, involving a range of art forms from digital art workshops to lantern making
-Building partnerships between your school and the wider area, connecting you with professional artists and practitioners
-Supporting your students to achieve an Arts Award through their engagement with the arts
-Signposting your students on to other arts activity, local arts events and work experience that they might want to be involved in
-Delivering professional development sessions for your teaching staff, governors and parents in order for you to gain the confidence and skills to engage more children and young people in arts and cultural activities
-Provide digital resources for teachers on how to deliver similar creative projects themselves
-Sharing evaluation methods so that we can measure the impact of the arts within the school and influence future practice
