Welcome to the Voyage of Discovery!

Arts Award Discover

Here is the downloadable log book in 3 parts, Part A, Part B & Part C. You will need to complete all 3 sections. To work on the log book on your computer download the word doc, or alternatively you can download and print the PDF.

Click the download links in the sections below to download the printable PDFs or word docs.
The PDF will open on your screen. From the toolbar menu at the top of your internet browser window, you can click, File and print or save the image. Alternatively, you can right click the picture and choose to save or print the PDF this way.

Then, once you’ve finished, email us photographs of every page of your log book so that we can check it’s complete.
Once that’s done we will order your certificate from Trinity College and you will receive it through the post!

If you need any help or advice all you need to do is email our project coordinator Jane at jane@junctionarts.org  Jane will get back to you as soon as she can with answers to your questions. Don’t forget you will also need to send Jane photographs of your completed work to be checked before your certificate is ordered.

Good luck everyone and don’t forget, if you’re stuck with anything, get in touch with us and we will help. Just email jane@junctionarts.org

Part A of the workbook

Taking part.
This is where you write down what arts activities you’ve done. Have you been making things at home to keep you occupied or drawing animations or cartoons? Maybe you’ve painted a beautiful rainbow for your window or got creative with a cereal box? Tell us all about it and you could include photographs or illustrations of you and your work.

Part B of the workbook

Research an artist.
Research an artist whose work you like. It could be your favourite singer, author or actor for example. You can do this by searching the internet or reading books you might have at home. You can also watch our In Conversation With … interviews with artists Junction Arts have worked with. The interviews are broadcast every Monday night at 7.00pm on our Instagram. Part C of the workbook

Sharing.
This is the easy bit, an opportunity for you to feel proud of your achievements. All you need to do is to show and tell your family and friends what you’ve been doing, explain what you’ve made, was it easy or hard, was it fun, maybe what new skills you’ve learnt. You can do this face to face or maybe over the phone or in a video call to someone close.

Then, once you’ve finished, email us photographs of every page of your log book so that we can check it’s complete. Once that’s done we will order your certificate from Trinity College and you will receive it through the post!
